Cracking noise from rear axle, Audi A6 4F (Solution)

Hello,

I have an Audi A6 4F here that occasionally makes a cracking noise from the rear axle when there's slight movement.
I couldn't detect any dislocated joints, but I didn't disassemble anything further.
Is that a well-known disease?

Solution: The spare tire was "stuck" in its compartment, the tire rubber was slightly rubbing against the bottom panel of the spare tire compartment, and it wasn't properly secured with screws.
Fixed by attaching felt pads (chair leg protectors) to the contact surfaces of the spare wheel or by flipping the tire over and tightening the screws.
