Hello VAG-COM users!
Yesterday, I performed my first dynamic measurement using a laptop, an OBD2 adapter, and VAG-COM software.
It was a 25km journey through the countryside.
I recorded three different data sets (1, 10, and 11) throughout the entire journey in order to reconstruct the driving/operating conditions to some extent. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the sampling rate was quite low at only 0.7.
What sampling rates do you achieve when recording three ad groups simultaneously?
Is the value of 0.7 relatively bad, normal, or good?

I suspect that the transmission rate is quite bad icon_evil.gif, or am I wrong?

Thank you for your posts.

Regards,
Alex.

P.S. Vehicle information: AUDI A3, 1.9 TDI, 66kW, engine code AGR, all original.
OBD2 adapter with unknown internal structure (purchased at auction on eBay).

Hi.

For my tractor, a value of 0.7 is also standard when operating with 3 simultaneous groups.
With only 1 group --> 2.0.

I'm currently experimenting with the speed using different software settings: BLK = 25 and Char = 0 (a tip found in the options screen of the 2082, intended for newer ECUs) manages to get the engine to 2.6 at one group. More to come.

Hi,

A value of 0.7 across three display groups appears to be normal for the MSA15 (VAG-COM with default settings).
According to the changes outlined below. VAG-COM 208.8 can be updated to version 0.8.
With newer gasoline engine control units (ECUs) like Simos and MPI, air-fuel ratio values of 4.8 and 1.6 can be achieved.

Best regards, Rudi.

Otherwise, Ulf is currently the only one who has provided data for the adapter statistics. icon_cry.gif

0.7; 0.8 is normal. I can confirm that.
'Only ad group 000 gives me results between 2.6 and 2.8. I can't get anything higher than that! I've tried adjusting everything in the options, but it hasn't resulted in a higher sampling rate. The only thing that changed was the communication behavior (i.e., more stable or less stable communication).'

@rudi
I'm in the process of compiling my measurements and will send them to you. It will take a little while, though, because I want to provide the data for three different vehicles with various settings from VAG-COM! Okay?

Logically, that's okay .

Thank you in advance.
