I installed a Garmin EcoRoute HD adapter in my Golf 4 Variant TDI (with MKB or ASZ engine). This device allows engine data to be displayed on the Garmin navigation system. The adapter connects to the diagnostic interface and transmits the data to the navigation system via Bluetooth. It is also possible to use a smartphone if the Garmin Mechanic app is installed.
"All the gauges are working except for the intake manifold pressure. In my Vito CDI and my wife's A200 turbo, the intake manifold pressure reading has always matched the boost pressure (compared to a mechanical boost gauge)."
"However, in my TDI, I always see a value of 1.55 bar. This value doesn't change even when the engine speed increases. Is there a particular characteristic of TDI PD engines regarding this?" MB Vito 2,2 CDI

Hello,
I'm not aware of any issues, and the data reading via the OBD interface works both with VCDS and with a digital real-time display, a Scangauge, which I have installed on the steering column (I hope it's okay to mention the company here; otherwise, please remove it).

I also have the Scangauge (permanently installed in the 206), and there was even a review of it by me. So, why shouldn't it fit?! Automobile Zeitzeugen: |SUZUKI Swift Sport (2008)| |Smart 450 (2002)| |Honda CB 125 F (2018)|
