TDI Starter Compatibility: Find the Right One

'On my Ibiza 6k, manufactured in 2001, the starter motor (MBK ASV) is failing, so I would like to replace it. The currently installed starter motor should be a 02A 911 024 D, 12V 2kW.'

Does anyone know if a starter motor from a newer generation of TDI vehicles, such as a Golf 5, would be compatible?

'With my old Ibiza from 1998 with the AFN engine, I was able to easily use a starter motor from a Bora made in 2002. The Ibiza had the part number 023, and the Bora also had the 024 part number.'

Ideally, I would prefer a used starter motor with low mileage and from a more recent production year, as these are also generally more affordable.
