Internal Torque Definition:

Hi everyone!

I'm new here, I got a VCDS, I've been messing around with it a bit, and I've come across something that I'm not clear on.

First of all: I have a 2005 Audi A4 Avant 3.0 TDI with 204 hp / 450 Nm.

While reading through various data, I came across the internal motor torque. Of course, I logged in immediately, and the curve in the diagram rises to 518NM.

Now the question: is this the calculated torque of the motor (shouldn't it be 450 Nm)?

I've heard that the machine is supposed to be able to throw the bait really high, but 70NM more is a bit excessive.

Can someone please explain this to me?

Delivered moment = internal moment as indicated by diagnosis - moment lost due to friction in the engine

Therefore, the torque losses in the engine are simply the difference between the two values.
Or, to put it another way: The engine management system must already inject fuel to compensate for frictional losses, without any torque being transmitted to the clutch. So, basically, just to keep the engine running and maintain a constant speed.

So, it has nothing to do with "dispersion" at all.
