Is it possible for me to check the temperature display in the tachometer for functionality?
For example, how to disconnect a plug and bridge it with a wire, and then the indicator goes all the way into the red zone!
Or with a program?

ohne Gewähr:

An den Geberanschluß verschiedene Widerstände (oder ein Poti) anklemmen und die Anzeige beobachten.
240 Ohm = ca. 60°
100 Ohm = ca. 90°
47 Ohm = ca. 120°

Die Schrittmotor-Anzeigen haben eine IMO idiotische "Zentrierfunktion" auf 90°C, d.h. zwischen ca. real 80 und 100° steht der Zeiger wie festgenagelt auf 90

kauf dir ein schrauberbuch so nach dem motto 'jetzt helfe ich mir selbst' und da findest du von der widerstandskennlinie bis hin zur überprüfung des anzeigegerätes alles !
wenn ich nicht so faul wäre hätte ich es abegtippt, aber andererseits in ein bißchen know how kann man auch mal investieren !

You need to compare the temperatures in the engine control unit and the switch-off table!
they must be identical

[Translating...] Tora meint das Gerät 'VAG 1552' So heisst der Kasten bei VW. VAG-COM emuliert dieses Gerät. Ich denke du musst einfach mal in die Messwertblöcke schauen, da gibts ja oft genug 'Kühlwassertemp.' Siehe auch in der Fehlerdatenbank....
