V70, no turbo boost, D5 engine, 163 hp

Hi!

I'm experiencing a significant loss of power in my Volvo (error code: deviation in turbocharger pressure control). According to the diagnostic tool, no boost pressure is being generated.

The intercooler was covered in oil, but I couldn't detect any leaks.

The turbo's wastegate adjustment is easy to operate, and the exhaust values are quite good, so there's no soot.

I still need to check the vacuum adjustment.

Could a faulty intercooler be the reason why no boost pressure is being generated or can be generated?

It was due to the vacuum system, which lost pressure through the front engine mount. This is controlled by vacuum in the Volvo.
