Audi A4 B6 Rear Door Won't Unlock (Solution)

A colleague is having a problem with his A4 B6; one of the rear doors no longer unlocks with the central locking system. Is there perhaps a trick to open the door from the inside without causing any damage, in order to remove the trim for repair?

Let's try one more time to see if we can trick the lock again.

Possibly disconnect the battery for 1 minute - has that helped before?

I would try to work around it first, before things become unpleasant.

Removing the disguise will be difficult, if not impossible.
because it also serves as a seal at Audi, so it's positioned in front of the door rubber, not between them.

It's difficult to compare, but I've experienced this issue multiple times with the Actros truck. In those cases, I was able to "bypass" the lock by using a small gap and a long wire.

I don't know how it looks in the back of the B6, but in all the Audis I've worked on so far, destroying just the door panel wouldn't really achieve much because you have to remove the entire frame.
