VAG Diagnostics: vd.exe Software v2.9

Hello.

Who owns the above software from Glindemann/Posicon , and has anyone successfully gotten it running?
I am interested in the various configuration parameters that allow the program to run and communicate with the control units.

What is the specific problem? I haven't experienced any issues with it. I also haven't made any changes to the settings.

I also have the program, but unfortunately, it doesn't work with Mike's adapter.
When establishing the connection, something yellow flashes briefly in the instrument cluster, and then it displays 'No connection to the control unit' .

'Even adjusting the trim settings didn't help.'
