Golf 5 Headlight Monitoring

I was contacted regarding this lamp monitoring system.
It's a Golf 5 from the very first years of production.

According to the owner, the lamp monitoring system illuminates regularly, but all the lamps are functioning correctly.
Occasionally, the problem would disappear. A few years ago, VW replaced the wiring harness at the rear because the issue had occurred there before. From that point on, things were quiet until a few months ago.

Has anyone had any experience with this, or are there any known diseases associated with it?

Can VCDS possibly be used to "re-initialize" or perform a reset?

Something in the trunk lid... then it sounds like a broken cable in the joint.

Rep. Should you replace a connector or wiring harness, or is it better to replace the entire thing?

You can either have it repaired five times, with it constantly breaking down, or you can choose to get a brand new wiring harness – the choice is yours.
