Hello!

It might be that I'm worrying unnecessarily about this problem, but...
Should you occasionally remove the liquid cooling system and verschandeln out any accumulated...
Flush out the sludge?
Or is this complete nonsense because no oil sludge accumulates there, and therefore the efficiency of the lubricating liquid (LLK) does not suffer?

Or whatever.

Well, normally, the entire charge air cooler circuit behind the turbocharger will be slightly oiled. If there is no defect in the turbocharger, this is first of all perfectly normal and secondly never so much that the intercooler could become 'sludgy.' Furthermore, so much air always passes through it that 'sludge' would not have the opportunity to accumulate.
'Sludge would mean that solid particles are also passing through the intercooler system. But where would they be coming from? From the crankcase ventilation or through the air filter?'

However, mud from outside is conceivable and also reduces the efficiency of the heat exchanger.
