Hello everyone in the forum community!

It seems I've now also been affected by the PDE issue!

"So far, nothing like that has happened. The idle is fine, and the performance was acceptable (the lambda value was 1.34, sometimes higher - so they're not in the best condition anymore), but otherwise, it has good acceleration and a smooth idle!"

Today it happened.

Driving normally, with a light load - suddenly the glow plug indicator came on and the dashboard displayed "Engine fault" - workshop required!

Laptop was present and already connected.

"Error with the fuel injector power supply - I cleared the error code, hoping I could continue driving... of course, it happened at a very inconvenient location!"

I think I have to expect the error to reappear, and it's likely that a power distribution element (PDE) will short circuit.

Is there a place to get PDE parts besides from VW? Honestly, I'm not willing to pay the "fairy tale tax" for those parts if I can avoid it!

How could I proceed from here?

Thank you very much!

Best regards, Alex.

Have you ever checked the PDE wiring harness?

That would be the simpler solution.

Have you already asked the Ludolfs? icon_wink.gif

I would first inquire at the icon_lol.gif, because they are now selling various PPDs at reduced prices.

Audi has dozens of counterexamples.

Half of the users on the A4 forum also only received a 50% discount, citing the TPI as justification.
Despite the low mileage and the presence of a service record.

At Audi, there are dozens of counterexamples.

Half of the users on the A4 forum also only received a 50% discount, citing the TPI as justification.
Despite the low mileage and service history book.

Who is talking about TPI? icon_rolleyes.gif

There's a rumor of a 100% takeover for VW. Check various forums. Ask Martin; I think there's something about it circulating in the Passat forum.

And there is a 100% chance of that.

Just for you. icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

I know the document.

Referring to that, there are actually dozens of Audi A4 drivers who received only 50% or nothing at all!

The car with the highest price was a 2007 BMW with 85,000 kilometers on the odometer.
With service booklet!

Even after negotiating and complaining to customer service, Audi did not offer full coverage of the costs.

The BRD (German Federal Republic) is not listed there, and neither are ANY of the Audi engine codes (MKB).

We're not talking about Audi, but rather about Volkswagen.

Is there an address where one can get PDE parts, other than from VW? Frankly, I'm not willing to pay the 'fairytale tax' for those parts if it can be avoided!

2007 Volkswagen Golf

And they get 100% icon_rolleyes.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif.

Hey, is that intentional? What does this have to do with the question of the relevant golf driver, and the associated 100% at VW?

He doesn't have an AUDI, but according to his profile/question, he has a VW. icon_rolleyes.gif And therefore, he will receive it free of charge. The thread title is irrelevant. }

Hi there,
What exactly is the error message? Then some relevant material numbers (MWBs) might be interesting.
