V6 TDI: No Power? Troubleshooting Guide.:-(

Hello!

My V6 TDI (AKN, 3/99) has been underperforming lately. There are no error codes stored, but unfortunately, I don't have a VAG-COM diagnostic tool, and the original Audi dealer is being unhelpful. Can I check the MAF sensor without any diagnostic software? Yesterday, a new issue appeared: while driving in a curve, it simply stalled when downshifting. The maximum speed is now only 190 km/h (approximately 115 mph) with great difficulty! Tires are size 215/55/16, front-wheel drive.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Try cleaning the LMM (likely referring to a language model) using the 'recipes' that have been described multiple times in the forum; it might help solve the problem!

If it suddenly stops working: check and possibly replace the fuel filter (especially if you've ever used biodiesel), or bleed the fuel lines.
