Hello!
Sure, here's the translation:

"Short question:"
Once the immobilizer has been deactivated by the ignition key transponder,
Will it remain free as long as the ignition is on?

Or, to put it another way:
If the transponder in the key or the reading coil/wiring fails while driving, will the car stop working?
Grüße, Steffen!

Hello,

The WFS (presumably a specific function or system) is only active during the startup process, at least in the Bosch MSA12/EDC15/16/17 engine control units that I am familiar with.

Best regards, Rainer.

Exactly. Therefore, you can safely bypass the ignition switch, remove the key, and the engine will continue to run.

Can be used to...
A) to steal the box, or...
B) Similar to how I keep the engine running in the summer (for the air conditioning). I implemented this using a small microcontroller circuit (activation with a button, deactivation either with another button or when the handbrake light goes out - so that no one can steal the car). It's not exactly environmentally friendly, but the police have used similar systems to prevent the batteries from being drained by rooftop discos.

Greetings.
Sure.

Here is the translation of the text from German to English:

"Guste" means "gust" in English. It can also be used as a verb, meaning "to gust."
