Hello,
"I have here the log data from VCDS, from both my diesel engine and both engine control units."
Unfortunately, there isn't much information available in VCDS, and even here, this engine isn't the most common.
Therefore, I would like to inquire whether any further information can be provided.
My online searches have so far yielded the following information:
The following diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are relevant in control unit 1:
72-79: Condition of the fuel injectors. The value should not deviate significantly from the neutral point; highly positive values indicate carbon buildup.

The values are divided into three pressure levels: 300 bar, 600 bar, and 1000 bar.
If the injector value at the first point is greater than -45 ms, or at the second point...
If the display shows a value greater than -15ms, the injector is worn and dripping fuel.
If the injectors are showing a positive value, it indicates that the injectors are carbonized (this happens when driving mostly short distances).
It's even worse if the injector drips. This creates more heat in the combustion chamber, which can lead to...
the injector can "eat" its way into the combustion chamber. |
The following diagnostic data (DTCs) are relevant in the engine control unit 11 (slave engine control unit):
105. Particle filter loading.

The 4 values mean...
Ash content in liters.
Payload calculated.
Actual loading of Russian goods.
Kilometers since last regeneration |
Unfortunately, the limits are not known.
