Would the turbocharger pressure sensor from an ARL engine fit in an AVF engine?
Background:
Since I have a Steinsauer box, I wanted to increase the boost pressure slightly.
The idea is that if it has a different characteristic, then it also...
the boost pressure is higher.
I just wanted to avoid the experiments involving resistance.
The pressure would be displayed incorrectly in VCDS if the characteristic curve is not correct. For example, 250 to 300 kPa.
The calculation of that would also be incorrect.
"The fact that the display and the calculations are no longer the same..."
It's clear to me. It wouldn't be any different with resistance.
Do you happen to have the characteristic curves from ARL?
With my AV fistula, I could at least log that information.
Do you happen to know if these are also mechanical (with a pressure pipe connection)?
identical are. From my old AFN (presumably referring to a device or component), I know that the diameter...
was greater than the pressure in the AFN.
The measurement range of the sensors you mentioned is the same, which makes the entire project pointless.
Regards,
EDIT vwSchrauber: Please note that before starting, the engine control unit (ECU) checks the plausibility of the atmospheric pressure sensor and the intake manifold pressure sensor.
