Hi everyone,
The following problem:
The Tiguan is exhibiting a tendency to roll backwards after starting from a standstill, even though there's no noticeable incline. I also have the impression that it's getting worse when there's weight in the trunk. Therefore, I would like to reduce the workload of the BA assistant.
I read that you can do it in setting 3... but it's not working for me. It's probably set to setting 53 for the parking brake on my device. I need the necessary permissions for that.
Does anyone happen to have one?
Autoscan attached.

Hi,
To narrow down the problem, are you referring to the start/stop function, meaning the automatic shut-off when the vehicle is stationary/idling? And if you disable that, do you also lose the "parentheses" feature?

If I deactivate the start-stop system, the squeaking noise disappears. Then he starts it up the way it's supposed to be.
Update: Tiger was at the repair shop. In desperation, they made a request on WOB, and were told to have the speed sensor (or something like that) recalibrated. They did that too, and as a result, the market volatility isn't as high as it was.
It's definitely getting better, but it's not perfect yet.
I'm starting to wonder who's making the decisions about these speed limits! In the city, you have traffic lights every 200 meters, and at one you're forced to stop, while at the next, you're not. Same road surface, no hills or slopes. I just don't understand it! That's why I'll have to visit VW again. In addition to that, there's also the annoying noise of that damn DCC system.

Understanding question 2 - You stop next to the tiger, hold the car with the foot brake (if necessary), and then does the parking brake engage when you start moving?

Yes, as mentioned above. But only after the start-stop system is activated! I'm not sure whether it's just the handbrake or all the brakes together.
P.S. WITHOUT AUTO-HOLD

No.
It's not the parking brake that's engaging; it's the ESP (the hydraulic braking system).
I assume that the Tiguan (like the Golf plus DSG from "my" pool) has the "Hill-Start Assist" (aka. "Hill-Hold"). A "hold" function similar to "Auto-Hold," but which cannot be disabled, using the hydraulic brake, allowing the driver/DSG to calmly engage the clutch and start moving.
If the vehicle detects that it is on a steep incline (XXX_Sensor needs calibration), it engages the brakes to prevent it from rolling backward.
The parking brake, with its motors, is not involved in this process.
"Auto-Hold" also also has a "catch" function; if the car starts to roll away, it automatically engages the brakes using the ESP pump.
It also lasts for "an indefinite amount of time."
"Hill-Hold" simply allows for a moment if you accidentally hit the brakes too hard, and then releases after x hundred milliseconds.
