Passat: Display Oil Temperature - 3BG V6 TDI

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if the oil temperature can be displayed on the screen.
With VCDS, the temperature can definitely be accessed.

Here are the details again:
VW Passat Variant 3BG, manufactured in 01/2004, 2.5 liter V6 engine, 132 kW, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN): WWW ZZZ 3BZ 4E27 4371.
All-wheel drive, 6-speed manual, 368,000 km.

Unfortunately, this is not possible without an additional module (e.g., FIS Control).

Can I install this optional module (FIS) and register it with the system accordingly?
and code, or isn't that available for the 3BG at all?

No registration or coding is required; simply connect it correctly.

Actually, something just occurred to me: your Passat is a 2004 model, so it probably won't be a direct fit.
Do you have a multifunction display installed?

Do you mean MFD as in Multifunction Display?
Is it the red light located between the speedometer and the tachometer?
If so, it's installed on my system.

Where can I get the add-on module, and what does it look like?
Do you have a picture of it?

No, MFD is the large navigation system with a color display.

You can simply Google it; you'll find the distributor right away.
