Disable fuel pump activation at door opening for Lupo 1.0 AUC

Hi.

I'm currently restoring a 2004 Lupo to be my daughter's first car, and I've noticed that whenever I open either of the doors (driver or passenger side), the fuel pump briefly activates. It seems like a feature similar to the automatic pre-glow function when opening the door on a T4 with an ABL engine.

Can this feature be disabled using a VAG 1551 device, or do I need to obtain a wiring diagram and manually resolve it?

To the best of my knowledge, this cannot be solved through coding. As always in such cases, a full system scan is absolutely necessary to determine which control units are involved.

Alternatively, and quite unconventionally, you could remove the fuse or relay for the fuel pump.
There's probably a mistake somewhere, but it will definitely be easier to delete than accidentally changing something due to coding errors.
