Alpin ECU MP10: Engine Control Unit

Hi,

I recently purchased a used Alpin engine control unit (ECU) to increase performance. Does anyone happen to have a manual or instructions on how to adjust this thing? I installed it in my Golf and it works perfectly, but it smokes quite a bit under full load, which suggests a very aggressive default setting.
