Golf 4 AZD Throttle Error 17972: Low Voltage

I'm reaching out to this forum after a long time because I'm stuck with my troubleshooting and can't seem to make any progress. I didn't want to immediately replace the throttle body or battery without further investigation. Given the high mileage of the vehicle, it probably wouldn't be worth it.

"On one of our Golf (4) vehicles, a 2001 MBK AZD, 1.6L gasoline engine, with 260,000 km on the odometer, the following problem has been occurring intermittently for some time:"

17972 - Throttle control unit (J338). Undervoltage detected at initial setting.
P1564 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent.

This results in an EPC WL (Emergency Power Cut Warning Light) and initiates the emergency mode.

I have already performed a basic reset of the DK several times.
Engine electronics (address 01) > Basic settings (function 04) > Measurement group 060 executed. This basic setting is also confirmed as OK.

The vehicle starts without any problems (assuming the error code is not set), and the battery is relatively new. According to the charger, it's in good condition. After registering the key fob and changing the terminals, the error code still hasn't appeared. I checked the ground connection to the engine; it looked fine, but I cleaned it anyway.

Is the basic setting of the DK also performed again each time the ignition is switched on? Otherwise, the error should already be present immediately after the DK is initialized. Or perhaps the error code doesn't match the actual problem.

Hello, I'm also currently dealing with the adaptation issue of the throttle valve.
It seems to me that if the mass is measured and confirmed to be present, then your DrKl.spor. device might also be defective.
Is the supply voltage of the DrKl secured? Perhaps you can identify the voltage pin and test it, making sure the display is readable from inside while driving.
Why don't you look for a used DrKl with a return policy? That way, you can try it out and see if it suits you.
You can also temporarily swap out a battery from another vehicle to test it if you're unsure about the current one, or at least connect a voltmeter to check the battery's charge level.

I fully charged the battery a few days ago and am now in the observation phase. The error has not occurred again so far. It seems that there is indeed an issue with low voltage.
I think the battery will definitely need to be replaced by fall at the latest.
