Hello, I'm getting my new A3 in the next few days. I want to put the rims from my A4 on it and would like to know if they will fit. The standard rims are 7.5X17 with 225/45 tires and an offset of 56.5, and that's the problem. My old rims are exactly the same size, but the offset is 35. Do you think it will fit? Otherwise, hardly any rims from the aftermarket would fit. It won't be a problem in the rear, but what about the front??? They're not that wide.
Best regards,

Hello.
I suspect that the hole saw won't fit.
The environmental impact assessment should not be a problem.
Best regards,
Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:
'Didl' is a German word that means 'a small, round object.' It can be used to refer to a variety of things, such as a ball, a marble, or a button.
Here is an example of how the word 'Didl' might be used in a sentence:
'The child was playing with a Didl in the garden.'

A little late, but the rims are already on. The bolt pattern is the same, which I already knew. The offset caused some issues, but that's already been resolved.
Best regards,

Then the new A3 has a 5x112 bolt pattern?
Where was the problem with the ET?

Yes, it has a 5x112 bolt pattern. Because the offset of the wheels caused them to stick out further, they were rubbing on the inside of the wheel well (though only in the rear). There's a strange bracket for the bumper, a plastic part and a screw. I got wheel spacers, and then there were no problems with the TÜV (German technical inspection).
