Mercedes G290TD Diagnosis: OM602.983 (W461)

I am a customer who uses VCDS and GS911 diagnostic tools, and I now own a Mercedes (see above). The vehicle has a 38-pin connector installed.

Is it possible to read the engine control unit (ECU) data using VCDS? Which adapters are necessary?

Mercedes EVE Bosch distributor injection pump N3/8.

No, if that were possible, then OBD2 would be an option, but if your Benz had it, it would also have the OBD2 port in the car.
