Headlight Washers Not Working? Fix It Now!

Hello forum,

Here's a brief overview of my vehicle details:

Audi A6 Avant 3.0 TDI (year 2006) S-Line.

I need to get the headlight washer system repaired for my vehicle inspection because it's not working. I wasn't even aware that I had such a system.

Since I don't want to just tear everything apart like a gorilla, it would be great if someone with experience could help me.

The following symptoms have occurred:

* Refilling the washing water --> OK.
* First time spraying --> The window is being sprayed.
* Afterwards, the windshield washer fluid leaks out almost completely from behind the left bumper.

Can anyone offer any advice on where to look or what steps to take?

Hello,

I would like to remove the bumper and try to locate the source of the leak.
Pressure must be able to build up in the system, otherwise the two cylinders/nozzles will not open.

It's possible that there wasn't enough antifreeze in the system at some point, and a freeze caused a crack in the system.

Open the hood, have an assistant operate the SRA (presumably a diagnostic tool), and check where the water is coming from. You can't see anything from underneath, and you still can't see anything. Lower the bumper.
