Passat 3B: Horn Not Working - Repair Guide (Solution)

Horn does not function.

Cause.
Loose connectors.
2. Loose connection of the signal horn.
3. Contact problems caused by oxide buildup on the contact surfaces.


Solution:
Check the connections and fittings of the signal horn. If a malfunction of the signal horn is detected during the handover inspection, the horn contact should be activated several times (activation duration approximately 5-10 seconds).

If the function is still impaired, the signal horn should be replaced.
