Hello everyone!

"On my Skoda Octavia, manufactured in 2012, with a 2.0L common-rail diesel engine, 140 horsepower, engine code CFHC, there's a noticeable, though not very loud, clicking sound during changes in load. Additionally, there's play in the drivetrain, which manifests as a slight jerk when quickly accelerating or decelerating. The noise is also audible when stationary, with a back-and-forth movement when the clutch is engaged. The clutch and dual-mass flywheel were recently replaced, and otherwise, everything functions properly."

What do you think about it?

Regards,
mcGregg

Please inspect the drive shafts and all relevant components of the axle and wheel suspension for wear. This includes ball joints, drive shafts, upper and lower control arms, etc.
Viele Grüße
Andreas

"From a friend's TT 8J TDI Quattro, I know that the anti-roll bar stabilizer or its mounting in the front subframe can be the cause of such noises."

It's best to have someone check for any unusual noises or movements while the vehicle is stationary on a lift or four-post rack, with the parking brake engaged.
