Audi A4 8k conversion to xenon headlights

Hello, I converted the headlights on my Audi A4 8K (year 2014) from halogen to xenon with adaptive lighting. Now I have two problems: The "Adaptive Light defective" message is displayed in the FIS (Multi-Function Display), and there are error codes stored in the diagnostic system.

Cables and adapters from Kufatec.

First, I would make sure that the cable or adapter set:

- is okay.
- is wired exactly like the original ones

Your error message looks like it's related to an electrical problem. It wouldn't be the first time that wiring harnesses are faulty. This has even happened with genuine aftermarket kits.

Okay, I'll check everything tomorrow. The strange thing is that the error message related to the body control module still appears even when both headlights are disconnected and nothing is connected.

Yes, it only appeared after the body control module was replaced and programmed.

Has it been correctly encoded?

Yes, I assume that's the case, but I'm not entirely sure. I read out the coding from another Audi A4 that came with factory-installed Xenon headlights and cornering lights, and used that coding.

First, you should be absolutely certain that the encoding is correct. Otherwise, debugging will be pointless.

What was the encoding like before?

This is a scan showing the old body control module still installed and before any modifications were made.

Was was from the same model year?
What other ECUs (Engine Control Units) have you remapped?

Only the body control module (BCM).
According to the seller, it's from 2013.

What exactly did you install from Kufatec, and what information does Kufatec provide about the control units (ECUs) and the coding process?
The "new" TCU (Transmission Control Unit) seems to be used and was found online.
