Hello community,
Could someone please explain how to perform the "Fuel system bleeding" function using the VCDS software? I plan to replace the fuel filter soon, and also want to check the currently installed filter for any debris.
My vehicle is a Skoda Superb with a CFFB TDI engine, 103 kW.

Sure, here's the translation:

"Thank you in advance."
Greetings.
Marc.

Hello...

Here's the translation:

As a first piece of advice: Work with absolute cleanliness, ensuring no dust, dirt, crumbs, lint from cloths, or anything similar enters the system.
Then, proceed according to the guide.

To fill the fuel system with fuel, you must proceed as follows:
- Connect a vehicle diagnostic tester.
- Turn on the ignition.
- In the self-diagnosis menu, select "Engine Electronics."
- Then, select "Default Settings".
- Select "Fuel pump test" from the selection list.
"for pre-funding".
- Press the "Start" button.
- The fuel pump(s) are starting up.
- The fuel pump(s) must run for approximately 1 minute to ensure...
to ensure that the fuel system is adequately supplied with fuel.
is filled. If you hear any noises or gurgling sounds that indicate air is trapped, repeat the process.

To repeat the initial setting, the ignition must be turned once.
can be turned on and off. After that, the basic settings need to be adjusted.
to be rekindled.

- After filling the fuel system, start the engine.
- Let the engine run for a few minutes at a medium speed.
run it and then stop it.
- Check the fuel system for leaks.
- Clear the error codes from the memory using the diagnostic tool.
- Then, conduct a test drive, and after that, re-check the previously opened connections for leaks.

Regards, Mpire.

Thank you for the detailed description. I have replaced the diesel filter. After 151,818 km, there are still no metal particles in the filter or the metal housing (thankfully), and it was bled as described.
Greetings.
