Audi A6 4B - Instrument Cluster Replacement - Coding to Engine Control Unit

For the past 5 years, I've owned VCDS, and so far, I've been able to solve every problem by searching here in the forum.

Ultimately, it finally happened, and I need your help. =)

I have an A6 4B model, manufactured in September 2000, with a 2.5 TDI engine and Quattro all-wheel drive.
Combination instrument, part number 4B0 920 432K.

A common issue: pixel errors in the FIS (Fault Information System).
I quickly bought a used combination instrument on eBay, thinking it was a bargain.

Used instrument cluster, part number 4B0 920 433G.

I've tried to integrate the new/used AI unit with my engine control unit, but unfortunately, it's not working.

I unlock the speedometer using the login code from the new/used instrument cluster (IC) and then attempt to pair the IC with the MSTG (Modular Scalable Telematics Gateway) using adaptation channel 50, using the login code of the MSTG.
He tells me, but as a result of system n.io...
Set the value back to 32000, and I'm back to the beginning.


Of course, I immediately wondered if the AI might not be compatible, but unfortunately, I haven't found anything conclusive online regarding a list that specifies which AIs are compatible with which models and which are not.


So, what am I doing wrong? "Has anyone else possibly experienced the same problem?"
