Error code P2177 - Lean condition system during idle (Solution)

The error code P2177, Lean condition at idle, is detected by measuring the lambda sensor or the mass airflow sensor.
Identical Error Codes: 18609 / P2177 / 008567

Possible Causes:
- Insufficient fuel supply (leaks, clogged fuel injector, faulty fuel pump)
- Improper air intake (Leaks in the intake system)
- Leaks in the exhaust system before the lambda sensor
- Incorrect fuel pressure sensor (G247) installed
- Defect in the mass airflow sensor or its wiring (check the values for plausibility)

The error code P2177 refers to cylinder bank 1 of the engine, and error code P2179 indicates the same issue for cylinder bank 2.
