Distance Control Sensor Fault: Causes & Fixes

Hello everyone, I'm new here and already having a problem with the sensor for the automatic distance control system.
Volkswagen Golf 7 R.

After an oil cooler was installed in the workshop, requiring the removal of the front bumper with the radar sensor, the "Front Assist" system has stopped working. While the camera can be calibrated, the radar sensor displays an "access denied" error message according to the workshop.

Does anyone have any ideas for me?

I suspect that either the additional metal from the oil cooler is affecting the radar signal (which I find unlikely unless it's relatively close to the sensor and within its field of view), or the position of the radar sensor has changed.

Can it be moved or mounted in a significantly different way?

Here's another thing: You should fix the problem with the rail pressure sensor in the car scan tool. Otherwise, you might end up stranded somewhere in the middle of nowhere due to a damaged cable, short circuit, or something similar.
