Sudden total power loss on a 2.0 TDI Audi 8V

You are my last hope: While accelerating, I revved the 2.0 TDI 150 HP engine in my Audi A3 to 3500 RPM - shifted gears: Suddenly! All the power was gone. The engine was still running, but it had less than 0.5 horsepower. The workshop replaced the AGR unit and the AGR cooler, but without success. Now, the car even stalls at idle. Valve timing has been checked: It's okay.
The engine is not making any unusual noises.
History of the last 30 days: Oil change and oil filter replacement, ignition key housing and beard replaced (broken while stuck in traffic on the highway).
Currently, the workshop is at a loss and I suspect I won't be able to pick up the car in working order. Do you have any suggestions for me? I'm really willing to pay a reward for the right tip. I'm really at a loss.
