Three faulty control units within one year

I have had three control units fail on my Sharan in the last 12 months.
It all started with the "radio".

This week, the all-wheel drive control unit failed.

The last errors cannot be deleted, so they are also in the trash.

Okay, now to my question: Could there be a deeper problem here? Is it related to the power supply? Does it measure 14.7V when the engine is running?
Does anyone know about these engine control units (ECUs) failing?

I'm not familiar with that. The question is, is the cause a voltage surge in the vehicle's electrical system, or a water/moisture problem?
The latter should be relatively easy to determine.

If you have a HEX-NET device, you could relatively easily log the on-board voltage while driving.
Or just use a laptop.

Possible causes include chafed cables in the tree that intermittently cause short circuits, and voltage spikes in the vehicle's electrical system when the short circuit is resolved.

You should also consider whether anything has been modified in the radio, as the pin configuration of the ISO connector is not standardized, and it's conceivable that, unintentionally, a speaker output could be connected to the CAN or K-line...
