Audi AAT/AEL Injectors: Comparison with VW 1Z/AFN/ACV

Does anyone happen to know if Audi injectors and VW injectors are compatible, meaning interchangeable?
I somehow have the impression that Audi pistons have a different combustion chamber geometry, which is why the injectors might also produce a slightly different spray pattern.
Can anyone confirm this, or perhaps even deny it?

I'm still not understanding things regarding my question.

The spray angle (spray pattern) is, for example, 150° or 142°. If the nozzle holder combination is not installed incorrectly, there should be no problems.
