Phaeton Noise: Front Axle 3D2 Diagnosis (Solution)

Front axle noise in vehicles with air suspension.

Cause.
Not yet known.


Solution:
• Perform a test ride in the "Comfort" damping mode and check if the rattling noise decreases when switching to the next stiffer damping mode.
• Check the front axle components for tightness and play.
• If a significant change is observed, replace the front axle shock absorbers.
