Hello everyone,
'Sometimes, when the outside temperature is high and the engine is warm, my AFN (engine type) exhibits strange vibrations at idle, almost as if it's running on only three cylinders. However, the idle speed is correct, and there are no error codes registered. This effect only occurs occasionally. Besides the temperature dependency, I haven't been able to identify any other consistent patterns. However, I sometimes feel that this issue happens more frequently when I've been driving around a curve or reversing with the engine disengaged. After a brief press of the accelerator, the idle returns to normal.'
Does anyone know about this problem, or even a solution to it?
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Thomas.

Although I may not be an expert and have limited knowledge on the subject, I'll still try to offer my opinion.
Have you ever turned off the air conditioning? I also experience these vibrations, but they subside as soon as the AC is turned off.
Best regards,
Daniel

Hello DanWos,
That's an idea. I'll give it a try. How many miles/kilometers are on your vehicle?
Best regards,

Hello,
The air conditioning is not the cause. The effect occurs even without the AC running. Once the effect has started, I can change the 'shaking frequency' by turning off the AC. Therefore, it's likely due to some kind of resonance effects.
