I searched for "000 speed basic," but I only found Rainer's article, which doesn't answer my question.
I once dared to try the "basic settings" in channel 000 of my Z series device.
It immediately started to rev up slightly, and the MSTG indicator light began flashing.
After completing the "Basics" phase, both phenomena had disappeared.
Is this behavior normal for this mode, or does it indicate a problem? (As far as I know, the engine was still too cold for a complete fuel injection start diagnosis).
Thank you.

By the way, it only gets to 81 degrees Celsius, at least that's what it was after half an hour of testing (I haven't completely reviewed the data from the 90-minute test run yet).

Hi Martin,
It seems normal to me.
The engine speed shouldn't really increase, but the full retarded timing gives it a slightly different sound (as long as the timing isn't already at its maximum retarded position when idling).
Perhaps you perceived it as a higher speed?
It only surprised me that when simply CHECKING the airbag and ABS systems, they visually indicate something is wrong, while the engine only reports tampering with BASIC functions.
Thank you.
Okay, please provide the German text you would like me to translate into English. I will only provide the translation.
