Needle Valve Injector (21-12-2003, 0:28)

Can someone explain to me how a faulty needle lift valve affects the 1Z engine?
'Additionally, I'm experiencing a constant rattling sound at approximately 1400 RPM. Could this be related to the vibration damper on the crankshaft? What could be the cause?'
