Viscous Fan Screw Stuck / Jamshed Defective

Hello,

There's nothing I can do; I can't get the 32mm nut off the Viscolüfter (blower motor) (rotation direction: clockwise). In the process, I broke the 3212 retaining clip (see picture).
Does anyone have any ideas before I have to resort to using the torque wrench? The stock is almost empty, and since the timing chain is being replaced, I also want to replace the flange shaft bearing. I'm a bit stuck right now.

Hmmmm, which car are we talking about here? Isn't there an Allen screw on the back, near the water pump? If so, the Allen screw is opened to the LEFT. If there's a thick nut behind the fan, it's opened to the RIGHT, I hope I'm not mistaken .

I need to replace the bearing. But how do I get to the bearing?
Does the entire bracket need to be removed for the Klima and Lima components? Will it be accessible then?

Depending on the VIN, there are likely two variants: one with a fitting and one without. If there is no fitting, a single bearing is also not offered. }

Remove it with a puller and press it back in?

That makes sense. It's already broken anyway, so I have nothing to lose.

The plate, including the thread, is a single piece and appears to be pressed onto the shaft. Is it possible to remove it?
I'll need to get a puller.
But then the storage unit needs to be removed. Has anyone ever disassembled one of these before?

I can't get to it with the puller. The flange won't come off the shaft. I've even tried heating it up.

It appears that model 046 903 143C has been replaced by model 046 903 143 D and costs a hefty 389 EUR plus VAT.
Does anyone have good deals on spare parts from the VAG group?

I wouldn't feel compelled to install anything new on that old car.

"Can't the flange and shaft be pulled out together? They don't necessarily have to be separated. You would need to create a device that rests on two bolts through the holes and against the flange, and then pushes the latter outwards. There's probably a needle bearing inside, which might be available as a standard part. Before pulling it out, measure the insertion depth and the distance to the housing!"

There are people who put a lot more money into even much older cars... I want to continue driving it in 2025 with an H-plate (historical vehicle registration). That part from eBay is probably just as finished as mine. } What would be the point then?
I have such low running costs with the A6 that I can afford to replace parts occasionally. Instead of having to improvise with tools and uncertain results, I just get a new part.
