Dampen power steering?

Hello,

Is it possible to make the power steering of a VW Golf 3 less sensitive so that you can feel the road more? I find the steering too soft, and I would prefer it to be firmer.

On the Golf 2, the power steering assist could be adjusted using a screw (either a 10mm or 13mm Allen key) located at the back of the steering rack.
It might still be possible with a Golf 3, but it definitely wasn't possible with a Golf 4.
