I performed an actuator diagnosis on my 1Z this weekend.
(028 906 021 AF)

The following oddities have come to my attention:

- During the AGR test, the membrane slowly extends and then quickly retracts with a noticeable "pop" sound.
- The engine noise is obviously changing significantly due to intake resonance.
- He's trying to do a climate diagnosis even though I don't have one.
- It does NOT check the N75 valve (boost pressure) or the glow plug heating system.

Did I make a mistake – for example, not restarting immediately after the N109 (stopper)?

I would have been particularly interested in the tests that were not conducted.

Okay, please provide the German text you would like me to translate into English. I will only provide the translation.

Hi Martin,

"In my opinion, this is due to the different internal flow cross-sections of the EGR solenoid valve. Only a capillary is opened for the vacuum pressure, while a larger tube is used for the positive pressure."

My mechanic also checked the charging valve and the GSH -> I have no idea why it's not working for you icon_sad.gif.

Hi Ulf,

Do you know the order in which he takes the tests?

Perhaps I waited too long after the N109 (I was terribly frightened the first time when the engine shut off, even though I knew it would do that icon_smile.gif).

"Thank you."

Hi Martin,

No, and I don't have time for that today either.

It would be news to me if there was supposed to be a "lockout period."

Hi Martin,
When performing a climate control system check using actuator diagnostics, various prerequisites must be met, such as the outside temperature, inside temperature, blower speed, etc. Please refer to the repair manual (which also specifies the sequence) and your voicemail for more details.

Hello.
Carsten.

It's been clarified.

N75 und der ganze Gluehkram kommt NACH dem N109 und soll auch mit stehendem Motor getestet werden (lt. (Replication guide).

I had always tried to restart the device, which caused VAGCOM to disconnect.
