Hello,

I have installed a 12mm pump in my ASV. Everything seems to be working fine so far. I would now just like to modify the pump control panel so that the mg/H values in the other fields also match.
So, damit habe ich auch schon angefangen, sieht auch soweit ganz gut aus. I simply used the factory settings and adjusted the settings on the fuel pump control panel until the engine performance was actually factory specifications.

My question now is simply, what is the voltage in the pump field?
In the measurement block 001, you can read a voltage that corresponds to the 'control lever position voltage' according to the repair manual. This voltage is always approximately 0.5V higher than the one programmed in the pump profile. Does this stem from the changed default setting of the pump (due to the piston conversion), or are these simply different voltages?

Which of the pump voltages are actually timed? Who gets the water from the STG, the pump, or the return?

Greetings
Benjamin

In response to the question of which voltages are timed, I found an answer in the article: all are timed. /viewtopic.php?t=3066

I'm still curious to know if the voltage from the MSW and the RSW are different in series pumps.

Is there actually a conversion factor for converting inductance to volts? Or how is the voltage value created in measurement block 001 for RSW?

Greetings
Benjamin

Hi Benjamin,

The effective voltage at the MSW is, as far as I know, not specified anywhere - at what sizes would you like to check for a (Non-)match?

By comparing the inductances of the reference and measuring coil using a 10 kHz signal and somehow converting the resulting ratio into the aforementioned voltage.
A smaller inductor in the measuring coil results in a lower voltage reading, and vice versa.
Sorry, but I don't know exactly either. . .
