Audi A4 Diagnostic Socket

I'm looking for the location of the diagnostic socket again. It's an Audi A4, model year 1995. If I'm interpreting the vehicle identification number correctly, it's type 8DZ.
The installation locations for the Audi, according to the DRV side, were not really helpful.

Hi Jörgs,

Carefully remove the protective cap from the diagnostic connector, otherwise the small retaining bracket for the flap might fly off and disappear.
