Duplicate diagnostic connector?

Hi.

Is it possible to duplicate the diagnostic connector?

(1) Leave the original text as is, so that VW doesn't get confused.
(2) 2. In the glove compartment, center console, or similar locations, so that older users can easily plug in a diagnostic cable, while younger users can "modify" the vehicle via the internet.

Or is extending the CAN bus line a bad idea?

"This is for connecting my Scanguage II for OBD diagnostics. It's a dual-port adapter, with a connector on one side and a socket on the other. The cable that connects to the Scanguage II exits from the side. Data can be read simultaneously from both "outputs," and the data appears to be the same everywhere, as far as I can tell by using different diagnostic tools. I ordered it for 6.99 EUR from a friendly Chinese seller on eBay. However, after receiving several hundred mixed reviews, it's no longer available." Probably under a different name now.

Hello Martin,

It should generally work with VAG vehicles, but please twist the CAN bus wires.
