Golf Engine Stalling: Warm Engine Problems

It's not a TDI or even a diesel engine, but I'm still trying to make it work.

Golf, manufactured in 1998, with approximately 21,000 km and the following problems:
Sometimes, usually on Thursdays and when the engine is warm, it starts very poorly, and then it smells like gasoline.

It's best to re-examine the issue carefully and check the sensor along with its wiring connections. The control unit's error message indicates that the 'error: temperature sensor' doesn't always occur, which is why there hasn't been another error entry yet.

Are you absolutely sure that your measurement captured the G62 sensor? Unfortunately, I have no idea which sensor the G62 represents for this vehicle! It could be the oil, coolant, or fuel temperature sensor. What is the engine code (MKB) of the vehicle?

You're right! I checked, and the G62 is the coolant temperature sensor.

If the engine has flooded multiple times, try replacing the spark plugs.
They absolutely hate moisture.

Another possibility is that the fuel injector(s) might drip, which could lead to problems.
