Combo instrument Golf IV - Control light brightness adjustment

Hello everyone,

After receiving your help with my previous post, I am now also at my GRA and need a completely different piece of advice.

In my Golf (7/03), the combination instrument was replaced yesterday due to a failure of the MFA. The new one basically works fine, but I have the impression that the warning lights are much brighter than before. With the unpleasant effect that the GRA and distance light indicators are quite annoying, especially at night, due to their brightness.

Does anyone know if it's generally possible to reduce the brightness of the underlying LEDs? Okay, not manually, but maybe with the diagnostic tool?
