I'm having a problem with my Passat, model year 2001.

'The rear passenger side door is stuck and won't open. It seems like the central locking system is no longer releasing the lock. The comfort control system shows an error: 'door contact short circuit to ground,' and the CAN gateway indicates 'no communication with the rear right door.' I just removed the interior paneling, but I can't see anything and it's hard to reach. Is there a trick to get the door open, at least enough to remove the locking mechanism?'

Hi,
If no one knows exactly what to do, you probably should take the other door apart and try to reach the crucial lever with a wire.

so dala,

(This appears to be a single word or phrase with no clear meaning without context. It's difficult to translate without knowing what it refers to.)

The door is open... icon_razz.gif The cause of all this trouble was the failure of the CAN gateway in the rear door. This caused the central locking system to be locked, preventing the lock from being released... Once again, a marvel of German engineering. What happens in such a case, if the comfort control system is working and the entire car is locked, and you have an accident? Good morning...
