Audi 8P documentary: The rear bumper/spoiler has a wavy surface. (Solution)

Cause:

Solution:
Loosen the screws at the two lower mounting points of the spoiler. Heat the spoiler evenly over a large area with a suitable device (e.g., a heat gun) to reshape it. Then, proceed to... B. Attach the component to the body by securing it to the brackets without applying any tension.

If there is already a permanent deformation, and warming does not resolve the issue, the spoiler needs to be replaced.
