How many WFS chips can a 1Z hold?

Hi.

How many keys can I program to a 1Z (with 021 AF, BF, or HD)?

I would like to avoid having my previously saved keys deleted when I add new ones (or at least be warned about it).

Hi Martin,
is independent of the engine control unit (ECU). The key data is stored in the vehicle function server (VFS) control unit.
A maximum of eight keys can be paired.

Warning! Every time you pair a new device, all keys must be re-registered.
and you need the number that came with your original keys.

I thought that had already been integrated into the MSTG (presumably a specific law or regulation) by now (i.e., in 1996)?

And number ??? I don't have a number!!!

In your PDF, there's nothing mentioned about a "number" - it just contains things like "login" and "adaptation," etc.

The WFS (Window Folding System) itself is located in the engine control unit. However, the WFS control module handles the key functions.
and 'allows' the MSTG to virtually start the engine.

The PDF, as far as I recall , only referred to the transition to the MSTG.
The number should also be obtainable through the customer service department.
