Airbag Adapter: Installation & Compatibility Guide

wenn ich meinen Sitz im GIV ausbauen möchte, sollte ich ja laut Rep-Anleitung einen Airbag-Adapter anschließen, damit der Sitzairbag nicht durch statische Aufladung versehentlich ausgelöst wird. SoKeep up the good work.

Unfortunately, I don't have such an adapter – and knowing my friend, he probably wouldn't lend it out either.

Now I know that many people are simply being cautious by disconnecting the battery and removing the seat without the adapter – there are probably very few problems with this approach.

Can you build an airbag adapter yourself? Do the two wires simply get shorted together? Or is the flow of electricity prevented, for example, by using two diodes connected in series with opposite polarities?
